MindStorm Info/Update
Hello FLL Teams,
Here is some last min info/updates from tomorrow:
Presentation-
-Remember, only official FLL teams can qualify (any 1000X number cannot).
-Teams who do not complete all parts of the project (see the * on the rubric) cannot win project awards, the Champion’s Award, and can not qualify.
-You must sign up for a judging slot, the sign-up station is in the Café.
Arrival-
Directions can be found on our website http://www.mindstormmayhem.org. Use the google map! Or you can use maps.google.com and use the address 45 Oak St., Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
Please enter through the GYM entrance in the back of the school, there is a very large parking lot there. Please avoid parking next to the dumpsters.
Qualifying Teams-
We have 12 teams that will qualify for the State Championship. There will also be 4 wait-listed team, if any of the first 12 don’t want to go then teams from the wait list will be contacted. The Golden tickets will be given out at the end of the day.
Practices Fields-
We will have 2 practices fields, with complete field kits, that will be setup in the Café. Space is tight so we ask that teams not bring there fields, we will try to rotate as many teams into the 2 practices fields as we can.

Important Info!
Hello FLL Teams,
This email is going out to all teams that have signed up for attend MindStorm Mayhem on Dec 6th 2008 at Oak Middle School.
We have 40 team current registered for MindStorm Mayhem. Please check out our website (http://www.mindstormmayhem.org) to see if you are confirmed- this means you have sent a check and I have received it, if you are planning on paying at the event please let me know before Nov 21st.
We have a packed day planed. Doors open at 7:30 AM and the day will end at 4 PM. Each team will be given 6 rounds before lunch and after lunch there will be a single elimination. Your Rank will be determined by an average score of all 6 rounds. ALL TEAM WILL GO TO ELIMINATION!
LUNCH- Lunch will be sold at the event and most items will be sold for $1:00. A menu has been attached to this email.
PRESENTAIONS- If you are not presenting please let me know. Our schedule for judging is different then other events, team will be able to sign up for time slots. Please remember if you do not present you can not qualify for WPI.
AWARDS- there are 15 awards that can be won. Some awards can only be won if your team has been there all day.
When you first arrive please find the registration desk and get your information packet, it will contain information you will need for the day, including a match list. You will be asked to sign up for a judging slot at the time of registration.
