Champion's Award

The Champion's Award is the most prestigious award that any team can win. It celebrates the ultimate success of the FIRST mission and FLL values.

Technical Awards:

Robot Design Award

Judges look for teams whose work stands out for innovation and/or dependability.

Robot Performance Award

"Presented to the team whose robot performed virtually flawlessly during the duration of the tournament. The robot executed each task as designed, in a consistent manner."

Team Presentation Awards:

Project Award

"FLL presents the Project Award to the team whose quality research, innovative solutions, and creative presentation best reflect an in-depth understanding of the various scientific disciplines and issues involved with the Challenge project."

Teamwork Award

"Teamwork is critical to succeed in the FIRST LEGO League and is the key ingredient in any team effort. FLL presents this award to the team that best demonstrates extraordinary enthusiasm, an exceptional partnership and FLL values."

Judge's Awards:

Team Spirit Award

"Some teams really know how to have fun. This award goes to the team that most enthusiastically demonstrates a commitment to getting others to see how accessible, fun, and rewarding science and technology can be, especially when you are part of a great team.

Rising Star Award

Presented to the rookie FLL team who performed as well as a veteran team. This team will be one to keep an eye on in the coming years.

Judges' Award (2)

These awards are given by the judges to teams they have determined excel in areas not included in the other awards.

Programming Award

"This award will judge teams on their ability to program and manipulate their robot to accomplish missions. The completeness, efficiency and creativity of tier programs will be judged."

Innovative Solution Award

"The judges will present this award to the team which shows outstanding innovation in robot design, programming and execution of the challenge tasks."
